I’ve been interested in the fact that Windows 7 supports DLNA but somewhat frustrated by the apparent lack of TVs in the UK that support it.
However, I’ve just read an article on Engadget that says:
Unlike most current DLNA implementations, the new clients can now display the DLNA server’s user interface, and although you might not be in love with it, your cable company is.
If that really works out, does this not mean that you could have, for example, a Sony TV in your bedroom supporting the new version of DLNA and it will actually display the full Media Centre UI? If so, that could be really exciting!
