Tech-Ed 2006: What’s new in Office SharePoint Server 2007

Poor Mike Fitzmaurice suffered from the demo gremlins during this session but it did nothing to dim the bright light that is MOSS 2007. As with the underlying foundation of Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft have done a great job of listening to customers about the pain points being experienced and looking at what can be done to resolve them.
They’ve done a really good job.
My main fear is that the sorts of things that Mike demoed aren’t going to be as easy to implement in real life as his demos suggested. If it is that easy, it is going to be a really sweet product to use and, hopefully, the staff will be able to get a lot of benefit from using it.
